Remove all mods that you own. This should be in the default directory in which FOMM installs the mods; Redownload New Vegas via steam (no mods) Verify Game Cache, see if it brings up errors. If so, let it run and redo this step when done. If not, proceed; Try the game, on your main laptop (no secondary display). After playing Fallout 3 for a good hour or so, I decided to download a ' few ' mods for the game. I know how to install them from my previous experiences with New Vegas. But this time when I installed the mods all together, the game would not work, so I deleted all their data and such, re-installed the game all fresh. But now every time I start the game up and get past its launcher, the game.
So i've installed both games 3 times now including TTW, everytime i installed TTW differently, however every time i get the same result, on startup i get black screen and a small window on the top left corner and nothing happens afterwards. I followed 3 different guides each time, and each time i get the same result.My load order is correct, and it just still keeps crashing, however if i start NV from the steam folder it starts up without mods but i still do get TTW slides and the FO3 intro screen on new game, but not the actual mod itself.

- With all the TTW files disabled the game will start up normally. However after enabling JUST the Fallout3.esm the problem is back and is freezes and crashes on startup. Prior to starting this thread i also tried the method in the FAQ under 'HELP! I installed TTW and now I have no main menu, or the game crashes at startup'.
